Zagreb
Boosting a rich cultural heritage that dates back to medieval
days, Zagreb remains delightfully alluring as both a historic
gem and modern-day economic hub. Its ancient cobble stone
streets, majestic ruins, landscaped promenades and stately
architecture speak volumes about a past defined by the glories
of the Roman empire, centuries of the Venetian rule and imprints
of the Austro-Hungarian Empire.
Numerous cultural events, a broad range of goods and services,
the city’s unique atmosphere will captivate you, too. Yes, its
modern city center pulses with innovation and promise, offering
world-renowned arts, concert halls, theatres and vibrant
economic enterprises that herald a bright future.
Dubrovnik
Its been called a classic medieval heart-stopper, with ancient
fairy tales and orange-tiled roofs draped over the high-cliffed
Adriatic Coastline. A World Heritage Site, Dubrovnik is filled
with fountains, palaces and cathedrals, rich in history and
culture dating back to the 7th century.
A playground for those who desire the unspoiled treasures of the
Mediterranean landscape, Dubrovnik is steeped in sunshine and
bathed in mild Mediterranean breezes, a lush region of coves,
forested islands and idyllic beaches.
The ideal destination for today’s honeymooners and tomorrow’s
vacation, Dubrovnik is home to distinctive hotels, villas
superbly located close to key historic and cultural sights, and
just steps away from the beautiful Dalmatian coast. Indulge in a
delectable choice of gourmet restaurants and intimate cafes
which delight the most discriminating palates; raise a toast in
cozy pubs and taverns, or enjoy a cup of coffee in the town’s
charming squares.
This year, make sun-kissed Dubrovnik your destination of choice,
and experience treasured memories that will last a lifetime. |

|
Transfer to hotel upon arrival.
Overnight in
Venice.
|
|
|
 |
Day 2:
Venice |
|
|
|
|
The magnificent
“Queen of the Adriatic,” Venice occupies 117 islands in the
azure waters of the Adriatic. This lagoon city is a watery maze
of grand canals, 177 smaller canals, over 450 bridges and the
world’s most famous sandbar, the Lido. Though thoroughly
walkable, getting around Venice is a mesmerizing experience
aboard the city’s variety of public transport boats, the
vaporetti, motoscafi and the more expensive gondola ride,
suggested more for a romantic interlude.
Venice’s enticing, exotic beauty—typified by the Byzantine
architecture, enormous stained glass windows rising along the
Grand Canal and Venetian Carnival masks with their wry, knowing
smiles—attest to the city’s historic role as a great Eastern
trader. Venice’s legendary maritime heroes, such as Marco Polo,
plied the Levantine trading routes. The entire Mediterranean
flowed through the Venetian Republic, adorning the city in the
splendors that illuminate it today. A walk through Saint Mark’s
Square provides a wealth of sights from the Doge’s Palace and
the Bridge of Sighs to the Campanile and St. Mark’s Cathedral.
Overnight in
Venice.

Day 3: Venice / Bled
/ Zagreb |
|
|
|
|
We recommend to
visitors, who are interested in learning something more about
Bled, to take a sightseeing tour around this resort. Bled was
discovered by the tourists in the middle of the 19th century,
after a Swiss doctor, Mr. Arnold Rikli, had built a climactic
health centre there.
Bled is often mentioned as the pearl of the Alpine region. It is
unique with its emerald-green lake, a church on the island in
the middle of the lake and a medieval castle from the 11th
century, perched on a cliff above the lake.
After a bus ride around the lake a guided tour of Bled castle
will start. Then you will be taken by Bled's typical "pletna"
boat to the island.
Overnight in Zagreb.
Meals:
Breakfast & dinner.

|
|
 |
Day 4:
Zagreb |
|
|
|
|
We invite you to experience the past and the present of Zagreb
by passing through the streets of the Lower and Upper Town, by
visiting the famous arcades and sculptures of Mirogoj Park
Cemetery, by entering inside the Zagreb Cathedral or by taking
in the everyday lively atmosphere of Dolac Market. You will be
accompanied by celebrated personalities from Zagreb's past –
August Senoa, a novelist, and Marija Juric Zagorka, a novelist
and the first Croatian lady-journalist.
Our walk through the streets of the Upper Town will take us to
St. Mark's Church, a symbol of Zagreb, to the best view of
Zagreb from under the Lotrscak Tower and to the Stone Gate where
we light a candle.
Only in Zagreb the noon is announced by the cannon firing from
the Lotrscak Tower and city parks are arranged in the form of a
horse shoe.
Zagreb has Maksimir, the oldest public cultivated park in Europe
and Archaeological Museum is proud to present the mummy with the
longest Etruscan epitaph.
The journey through Zagreb's heritage and tradition will be
enriched by the unique taste of pepper biscuits and a visit to
the bidermayer interior of the old Upper Town Zagreb Café.
Overnight in Zagreb.
Meals:
Breakfast & dinner.

|
|
 |

individual rooms constituting separate interior units.

parks, with exuberant vegetation, full of interesting shapes and
lovely panoramas. It provides a unique experience of pristine
nature accompanied by a rich and varied tourist offer.

The monument-city of Dubrovnik was the first place to be

former city of Ragusa is widely considered to be most beautiful
place of Croatia. Throughout the history the city has competed
with mighty Venice to control the waters of Adriatic. Today it
still continues to rival Venice with its beauty and charming
atmosphere. It would be really hard to single out any of the
most fascinating pieces of architecture. The Franciscan an the
Dominican Monastery, the Cathedral, the Rector's Palace,
Stradun, the imposing city walls and St. Blaise's church figure
among the most impressive and interesting sites which simply
deserve attention and admiration.
