Greece, Macedonia, Albania, Slovenia & Croatia

Group │ Escorted Tour │ 16 Days │ From $3,095

This tour is a great opportunity to experience five different countries: Greece, Macedonia, Albania, Slovenia and Croatia.  Start your 16-day journey in Athens, Greece and end in Zagreb, Croatia.  Along the way, visit Kalambaka, Ohrid, Tirana, Dubrovnik, Split, Trogir, Plitvice Lakes, Postojna, Bled & Ljubljana.

When you visit Greece you step into a world that is equal parts past and presen. Bustling Athens is the epicenter of all things ancient, including the Parthenon, the lofty golden-marble temple to the goddess Athena, as well as other must-see remnants of early Western civilization.

The city of the immortal Ohrid is the sublime lakeside point that for many represents the culmination of the Macedonian experience, a kingdom of light and water, a repository of ancient ruins from Macedonia’s earlier kingdoms.

Albanian history and culture is fascinating.  Butrint, one of the world’s archeological wonders – and a UNESCO World Heritage site – in the south of Albania provides a glimpse of Mediterranean civilization from the Bronze Age through the Greek, Roman, Byzantine, Venetian and Ottoman periods – all atop a cliff overlooking Corfu. It’s not to be missed!

Slovenia is the only country in Europe that combines the Alps, the Mediterranean, the Pannonian Plain and the Karst. The changing landscape is constantly surprising, time and again. You can have one eye on the sea, then look in the other direction and be surrounded by high mountains.

Charming Croatia will completely mesmerize you.  From stuning Dubrovnik on the southern tip of the Adriatic coast, to Split and Trogir in central Dalmatia, to the most beautiful waterfalls of Plitvice Lakes, and the vibrant markets of Zagreb, you will be inspired by its history, culture, natural beauty and warm people.
