Day 1: Rome
Arrival to Rome airport, followed by private transfer to your hotel. If you’re travelling to Rome with your partner, there are quite a few incredibly romantic places you will not want to miss, especially if you visit the Eternal City during the summer. Visiting these places with your loved one can provide a lifetime experience, a Thousand and one Night story to be told to you friends and retold for decades! Day 2: Rome
Explore all the best-known sites of ancient Rome, including the Colosseum, the Capitoline Hill, Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon and Piazza Navona. In the company of the expert guide enjoy this walking tour of the Eternal City, Make the unparalleled experiences of gladiators, emperors, slaves, Vestal Virgins, senators, merchants, gods and goddesses your own. Admire this beautiful city at night, stop for a dinner of authentic Italian specialties at one of local restaurants and sip a glass of fine Chianti. Day 3: Rome
Today is reserved for a full day or romance. You will fall in love with Tuscany and their excellent food and wine. Begin in famous “Orcia Valley”. Stop at Montepulciano, a typical medieval Tuscan hill town where the ” vino nobile” (Noble Wine – the first Italian wine awarded in 1966 with the D.O.C.G. certification – has been produced since the VIII Century A.D. You will have the opportunity to do some tastings in the picturesque wine cellars located in the underground tunnels that once were Etruscan Tombs. The Tour continues to the wineries of Montalcino – where the “Brunello di Montalcino” wine, nowadays the most famous Italian wine, is produced. Finally we’ll also do a wine-tasting of several of their wines and a tasting of the typical Tuscan cold cuts, cheeses and Bruschettas that you’ll prepare yourselves with the local olive oil. Our final stop will be the town of Pienza, known as the jewel of the Renaissance architecture and nicknamed by many artists in the past as The ideal city. While wondering around, you’ll have also the opportunity to sample the Pecorino cheese, a local specialty.. Overnight at Hotel Art, Rome.
Day 4: Rome/Split/Hvar
Transfer to Rome airport followed by one way flight to Split and a catamaran/ferry transfer to the island of Hvar. Arrive to Hvar town that has one of the first communal theaters in Europe, built in 1612, called the Arsenal. There is also the famous “Tvrdalj” Palace of Petar Hektorović, not to be missed. Spend the rest of the day enjoying any of the secluded beaches. Save the evening to explore this charming town on your own. Enjoy many of the town’s romantic cafes and restaurants with excellent food and wine, and visit some of the trendiest boutiques and souvenir shops. A don’t miss the great nightlife here!. Day 5: Hvar/Vis/Hvar
Today is reserved for a sailing trip to Vis. The island of Vis is one of the most remote of all Adriatic islands, an island considered to be a jewel already by the ancient Greeks. On the remains of the old Greek settlements we today find the towns of Vis and Komiža . Vis is the favorite tourist destination for those visitors who want to try the unique and almost gone authentic Mediterranean environment and way of life. Enjoy your organized lunch on boat and enjoy this day filled with sun, sea and love! Overnight at Hotel Amfora, Hvar.
Day 6: Hvar
Spend this day at leisure. Enjoy swimming, biking, sea kayaking and exploring the island on foot, and admire the divine beauty of Hvar surrounded with lavender fields and olive groves. Stop at one of the traditional stone houses for a glass of excellent local wine, cheese, fish or some fresh fruit. In the evening, stroll the cobblestone streets of Hvar city and enjoy a romantic evening, and taste the local specialties in the perfect setting by the sea. Overnight at Hotel Amfora, Hvar.
Day 7: Hvar/Dubrovnik
Transfer to Dubrovnik with optional stop along the way in Ston on Pelješac Peninsula, only in case oysters and wine are your thing. Arrive to Dubrovnik, the highlight of everyone’s trip to Croatia. Relax a while at your hotel or continue exploring the Old Town’s city walls. We are sure that you want miss any of the surprisingly interesting sights: a pharmacy that’s been open for business since the Middle Ages, Europe’s second-oldest synagogue, art churches and mansions with beautiful art, and museums devoted to the local folk life and seafaring culture. Stroll thought famous Stradun, and don’t let anyone get in a way between your ice cream and your favorite people-watching spot. Dine at any of the family own restaurants where you can find available table and enjoy dinner of delicious seafood local meat or pasta specialty. Day 8: Dubrovnik/Mljet/Dubrovnik
Today, you are ready for some peace and quiet again, and a full day boat excursion to Mljet National Park sounds like the best way to escape it all. Experience the allure of Mljet Island featuring two connected salty lakes –Great Lake and the Small Lake. Take a boat ride St. Mary’s Benedictine monastery and a small church dating to the 12th century. Enjoy lunch and do not miss the opportunity to do what locals do here — swim in the crystal clear waters of the lakes, relax, invigorate and recharge in the deep shade and the serenity of the island. Day 9: Dubrovnik
