Day 1: Split
Arrival to Split airport, followed by private transfer to your hotel. Enjoy the rest of the afternoon at leisure. This eternally young city with around 200 thousand inhabitants has lived its urban rhythm for 1700 years with Diocletian’s palace at its heart, which is also the historical center of the city and a UNESCO world heritage site. Many valuable monuments of culture are located outside the walls of Diocletian’s Palace or in the nearby towns and islands. Overnight at Le Méridien Lav, Split.
Day 2: Split
Visit the well preserved ancient cellars of the Diocletian’s Palace during your organized walking tour of Split. Continue to the Cathedral, which is considered to be one of the oldest in the world. Spend the rest of the day at leisure. Browse the local market, galleries and boutique shops. Enjoy lunch of Dalmatian specialties and a glass or local red wine at a nearby konoba. Or hit the town beach and just relax, swim and wait for the spectacular sunset. Overnight at Le Méridien Lav, Split.
Day 3: Split
Day at leisure. Take an optional boat ride to the memorable Trogir, and admire its wonderful art collection. If you feeling adventurous go to nearby Omis for white water rafting or hop on a zip line through Cetina canyon. Sinjska alka is not to be missed if you are in town in August. There are plenty of wonderful “distractions”, especially the local ice cream. Overnight at Le Méridien Lav, Split.
Day 4: Split/Hvar
Private transfer from the hotel to the Split Port. Take a catamaran ride to Hvar, one of the most beautiful islands on the Adriatic coast. Here you can relax on one of the island’s beautiful beaches or stroll the cobblestone streets of its town with lined up cafes and restaurants. Located in picturesque natural surroundings on the south side of the island, surrounded by mighty medieval walls, magical fields and the scent of lavender, Hvar is a never-ending treasure of monumental heritage, culture and atmospheres. Day 5: Hvar/Vis/Hvar
Today is reserved for a sailing excursion to Vis famous for its clear sea and protected underwater world, rich in sunken ships and miraculous flora and fauna. The island of Vis is one of the most remote of all Adriatic islands, an island considered to be a jewel already by the ancient Greeks. On the remains of the old Greek settlements we today find the towns of Komiža and Vis. Enjoy your organized lunch on boat and don’t get too much sun! Overnight at Hotel Amfora, Hvar.
Day 6: Hvar
This day at leisure. Go for a swim, take a bike ride or explore the island on foot, and admire the divine beauty of Hvar surrounded with lavender fields and olive groves. Stop at one of the traditional stone houses for a glass of excellent local wine, cheese, fish or some fresh fruit. In the evening, stroll the cobblestone streets of Hvar city and enjoy a romantic evening, and taste the local specialties in the perfect setting by the sea. Overnight at Hotel Amfora, Hvar.
Day 7: Hvar/Dubrovnik
Catamaran/ferry and a private transfer to Dubrovnik. Afternoon at leisure. The over a thousand year old history of Dubrovnik is visible in every part of this city. The city is a living museum and a live stage, and has an ideal connection between its historical past and the modern day. It is surrounded by medieval walls that are 1940 metres long and are preserved in their original form. They are open to visitors and are the city’s greatest attraction. Since 1979 the town has been under UNSECO protection.Overnight at Hotel Rixos, Dubrovnik.
Day 8: Dubrovnik
Dubrovnik will take your breath away! Join the organized tour of the Old Town in a company of a local guide and visit the beautiful cloister at the Franciscan Monastery. Delight in the artistic treasures of the Assumption of the Virgin, and visit the Rector’s Palace, and XIV century Dominican Monastery. Spend the rest of the day at leisure discovering everything else this magnificent city has to offer. Overnight at Hotel Rixos, Dubrovnik.
Day 9: Dubrovnik/Mljet/Dubrovnik
A full day boat excursion to Mljet National Park sounds like the best way to escape it all. Experience the allure of Mljet Island featuring two connected salty lakes –Great Lake and the Small Lake. Take a boat ride St. Mary’s Benedictine monastery and a small church dating to the XII century. Enjoy lunch and do not miss the opportunity to do what locals do here — swim in the crystal clear waters of the lakes, relax, invigorate and recharge in the deep shade and the serenity of the island. You will be surrounded by beautiful, rich forest and narrow pathways that you will find ideal for hiking and biking. Overnight at Hotel Rixos, Dubrovnik.
Day 10: Dubrovnik
