Arrival to Zagreb airport, followed by private transfer to your hotel. Enjoy the rest of the afternoon at leisure. Springing up from two medieval settlements – Kaptol and Gradec, which form the core of the old Upper Town, it is a true Central European city and with the surrounding settlements it has about one million inhabitants. Zagreb is a city with endless charm and history to discover. The city dates back to the medieval days, so the architecture is absolutely stunning. The sightseeing tour will bring you to St. Mark’s church in the Upper Town and the Lotršćak Tower to see the most beautiful view of the city. There will be enough time for a delicious fresh baked pastry and a cup of excellent coffee in one of the side walk cafes in Gornji Grad. Or dine on some great home-made cheese and wine as you chat with friendly locals at Dolac, the lively open air market. Enjoy the city’s abundance of beautiful parks, chic cafes and restaurants around town and on famous Tkalčićeva Street. Browse its boutique shops, art galleries, museums, and enjoy culinary specialties at some of the best Croatian restaurants.
Afternoon is reserved for biking and relaxing around the lakes of Maksimir Park, one of the oldest public parks in Europe. Admire its hundred-year-old oak forest with various plant and animal species, and visit the Zoo. Overnight at Hotel President, Zagreb.
Rastoke are located nearby Plitvice Lakes. They are situated at the mouth of the river Slunjčica, which flows into the river Korana. A series of small waterfalls, rapids and basins are created by travertine barriers. Admire numerous mills, which date back to the 17th century. Due to its architectural heritage, ethnographic and historical value, as well as its natural beauty, in 1969, Rastoke was declared a cultural monument. It is breathtaking in its natural beauty, cuisine and traditions, and we are sure that you will enjoy it with all of your senses. Explore the settlement by walking along the trails overlooking the waterfalls and rapids and enjoy the beauty of nature. The Korana River is the ideal place for whitewater rafting, canoeing and kayaking. In Rastoke, today, there are approximately 30 households, which were renovated and are well preserved to keep intact the traditions of this region. You can be a witness to the past lives of the people in this area and experience how they once lived, what they ate and even how they arranged their dining room and bedrooms. A number of the restaurants offer traditional dishes from this region, such as homemade polenta from the Rastoke mills, trout, lamb, venison, homemade bread, noodles and strudel. Rovinj is considered to be the most beautiful place in Istria. The old town offers fascinating art and architecture and it is surrounded by the islands of Rovinj archipelago, Lim Bay, Punta Corrente Forrest & Palud bird reserve. The best way to explore it all is on a half-day biking tour. In the company of your expert guide, you will bike along the coast and into the country to explore Istria’s villages and farms. You will have the opportunity to taste the fruits and/or lunch produced by local farmers. This wonderful excursion will also include hiking and enjoying the views of the Lim Fjord Nature Reserve. Here you can find some of the best spots for a refreshing swim in the clear sea. Explore the wildlife of the area in two bird sanctuaries.
Your other wonderful choice is a full day biking excursion in Grožnjan, through the valley of Mirna River and Motovun. Istrian Peninsula is well known for its amazing coast but the real treasure is its countryside. Typical Istrian towns were built on top of the hills for strategic reasons. Between them are vineyards, fields and forests great for biking. Grožnjan is a charming little town with abundance of great art and music, filled with galleries, art shops and great views of the area. In Oprtalj we stop for a walk to taste Istrian wines and cheeses. The valley of Mirna River and Motovun is known for its truffles where you should not miss a gourmet lunch of Istrian specialties. Today you will take a day trip to the exquisite Plitvice Lakes National Park, one of Europe’s largest nature reserve parks. Plitvice is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a fantastic place to get outdoors and experience the lush green landscapes and fresh air in Croatia. Walk, hike or bike your way through the park and enjoy the emerald green waters and bubbling waterfalls that characterize this gorgeous park. Overnight at Hotel Jezero, Plitvice.
Visit the well preserved ancient cellars of the Diocletian’s Palace during your organized walking tour of Split. Continue to the Cathedral, which is considered to be one of the oldest in the world. Spend the rest of the day at leisure. Browse the local market, galleries and boutique shops. Enjoy lunch of Dalmatian specialties followed by excellent home-made ice cream or a delicious dessert. In the afternoon perhaps you can join in a game of picigin if you dare to try, or be on the safe side and take a walk on the Riva and enjoy the sunset. Overnight at Hotel San Antonio, Split.
There will be plenty of options for new adventures today! Should you opt for a refreshing swim at Krka Waterfalls or a spectacular river rafting on Cetina River? In case of Krka Waterfalls option, you will take an exciting drive along the stunning Dalmatian coast with a stop at a vista near Primošten that offers the most amazing views of this charming town and the Adriatic. Continue to Šibenik, the only town on the Adriatic coast founded by Croatians. Here you will enjoy a pleasant stroll through the city center will reveal St. Jacob´s cathedral the Dukes palace and many other amazing sites. Shortly you will arrive to Krka National Park with fascinating waterfalls. Swimming beneath Skradinski buk is a one-of-a-kind experience that you will always remember (especially the chills of the first jump). Warm up by visiting the old water mill and sample delicious local specialties surrounded by beautiful nature.
Your second option is to enjoy emerald water, forests, caves, waterfalls and great rafting on the Cetina River. This adventure starts near Omiš where Cetina enters the Adriatic Sea. No previous rafting experience is needed if you can swim. Rafting is possible all year round because Cetina is a dam-controlled river. The trip ends in Radman Mills („Radmanove mlinice“), an open air restaurant situated by a beautiful old water mill, a perfect place to gain your energy back and enjoy any of the traditional lunch specialties. Take a full day boat trip to Vis, the island of fishermen and winegrowers, and one of the smallest and most peaceful and secluded inhabited islands on the Croatian coast. Vis served as a military naval base during Yugoslavia and reopened to visitors in 1989. Beautiful beaches, preserved nature, ecological agriculture and preserved traditional architecture are unique advantages of this unique island. Enjoy the time at Vis speed where sometimes the only sound is made by the wind and sea and later in a day by few elderly locals lined up on the benches if front of their homes eagerly watching “strange” island visitors.

Arrive to Dubrovnik, the highlight of everyone’s trip to Croatia. Explore the Old Town’s city walls. We are sure that you want miss any of the surprisingly interesting sights: a pharmacy that’s been open for business since the middle Ages, Europe’s second-oldest synagogue, art churches and mansions with beautiful art, and museums devoted to the local folk life and seafaring culture. Stroll thought famous Stradun, and don’t let anyone get in a way between your ice cream Dine at any of the family own restaurants where you can find available table and enjoy dinner of delicious seafood local meat or pasta specialty. Discover Zaton Bay and five beautiful beaches on a kayaking excursion. Zaton bay is a lovely place nearby Dubrovnik. Admire the Renaissance summer mansions of former Dubrovnik aristocrats. Zaton bay is ideal for swimming, sea kayaking near cliffs and exploring the underwater world. All three villages Zaton Mali, Zaton Veliki and Štikovica, have cozy restaurants by the sea where you can sample Dubrovnik and Dalmatian specialties. A full day boat excursion to Mljet National Park sounds like the best way to escape it all. Experience the allure of Mljet Island featuring two connected salty lakes –Great Lake and the Small Lake. Take a boat ride St. Mary’s Benedictine monastery and a small church dating to the 12th century. Enjoy lunch and do not miss the opportunity to do what locals do here — swim in the crystal clear waters of the lakes, relax, invigorate and recharge in the deep shade and the serenity of the island.
