Itinerary

Day 1: Dubrovnik

You will be transferred from Dubrovnik airport or your Dubrovnik hotel to harbor, where embarkation begins at 1 PM. Get settled in your cabin before attending a welcome reception followed by dinner this evening. (D)

Day 2: Dubrovnik/Slano

Start the day with a walking tour of Dubrovnik, the “Pearl of Adriatic”. Walk through STRADUN – both a street and a square, the most famous place inside the town walls, the famous city enlisted as UNESCO’s World Heritage site, where your guide will show you the most interesting sights of Dubrovnik. After returning to ship enjoy the magic scenery as the ship cruises around Dubrovnik city walls to continue to one of the Elaphiti islands for a swim stop. Afternoon arrival in Slano, a peaceful fishermen’s village and our starting point to Ston, once fortified small village famous for its oysters situated on Peljesac peninsula. Peljesac peninsula is known as one of the best wine-producing regions in Croatia. After exploring the town we leave to a small nearby village to enjoy the authentic local oyster tasting. Day 3: Slano/Mljet/Korčula

In the morning we head north to the Island of Mljet. Join the Cruise Manager for a stroll to the famous salt lakes in the Mljet National Park. Continue our cruise towards the Korčula island best known as the birthplace of Marco Polo. Afternoon arrival in Korčula followed by a guided walking tour of this enchanting town surrounded by walls, which is one of the best preserved medieval cities in the Mediterranean. Overnight in Korčula where you can enjoy a gourmet experience at the multiple restaurants and bars. (B, L)

Day 4: Korčula/Biševo/ Vis

Early in the morning we sail to small island Biševo to visit the Blue Cave, a magnificent natural phenomenon. As sometimes weather conditions can be very unpredictable, the possibility of our visit will depend on those conditions, however you will be notified of this on time. Cruise towards the island of Vis, once a strategic naval Yugoslav base and restricted to the public. Due to this isolation, Vis has a special charm – “the Mediterranean as it once was” making it really interesting to visit. Try some exquisite wine sorts in one of the Vis traditional wineries. If interested, visit the remains of the Roman thermal place, City museum or simply take a walk enjoying the views. Overnight in the port of Vis. (B, L)

Day 5: Vis/Hvar/Stari Grad

In the morning head further towards Hvar, the longest and sunniest island in the Adriatic, with a swim stop and lunch on board. Afternoon arrival in Hvar town followed by a tour of the town - the Renaissance cathedral with its original tower, and the oldest community theatre in Europe founded in 1612. After the tour set sail towards Stari Grad on the island of Hvar, one of the oldest cities in Europe where you will overnight. (B, L)

Day 6: Stari Grad/Trogir

Early morning departure to the old Dalmatian town Trogir. Trogir is sometimes referred to as “miniature Venice” or a “mini Dubrovnik” because of its ancient walls, or a floating museum town - as it has a masterful architecture including some stunning Venetian palaces. You will discover the beauty of the Krka National park and the small access port of Skradin where the flora and fauna are exceptional. Overnight in Trogir. (B, L)

Day 7: Trogir/Split

In the morning join our guided tour of Trogir with a local tour guide. Set sail to Split with a stop along the way to swim and relax, if weather permits, with lunch on board. In the late afternoon we arrive at Split to spend the night. Arriving in Split, join a guided tour of the city, visit the seafront promenade and Roman Emperor Diocletian’s Palace. The historical center of the city is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. Your evening is free in Split. (B, L)

Day 8: Split

After breakfast it’s time to disembark. You will be transferred to Split airport or your Split hotel. (B)

COVID-19 SAFETY REGULATIONS

1. Cleaning procedures
Disinfecting surfaces is one key way to minimize the spread of viruses. Our ships will increase the frequency of our regular cleaning program and all common areas will be cleaned at least two times per day with the cleaning agents that have been proved to eliminate viruses and bacteria. Handrails, doorknobs, remote controls, light switches, cabin keys, etc. will be disinfected multiple times daily, as well as common toilets on the ship. Special attention will be given to ship salon cleaning, where desks, chairs, and other surfaces will be cleaned after every use. Cabins will be cleaned on a daily basis, meaning all surfaces will be treated with effective sanitizers as mentioned above. Guests will be asked to leave their cabins during cleaning to avoid close contact and respect the social distancing policy. Extra blankets and pillows will be removed from the cabin wardrobes and will be provided on request. Guests can refuse the daily cleaning practice if they wish to.

2. Social distancing
Our ships are small cruise ships, meaning that our groups are not bigger than 40 people. This is very important to highlight because we work with small groups and we are able to accommodate all social distancing requirements. Furniture in public areas (salon) will be arranged to allow more space for distancing. More information will be available with your Cruise Manager onboard. All ships have very spacious sundecks allowing the sunbeds and chairs to be easily placed at a 1,5 m distance as recommended. Sun chairs will be marked with cabin numbers and guests will be kindly asked to use the chair marked with their cabin number only. The superior ships with jacuzzi will have a limited number of people using it at a time – maximum of two people, if they are a couple or family members, as there is no evidence that a swimming pool or jacuzzi would put anyone in danger to get the COVID-19 virus, as long as social distancing and hygiene is observed.

3. Crew
All crew members will be informed and trained on the new procedures and will be advised to keep the highest hygiene standards and social distancing in guests' interaction. They will be advised to wear masks and gloves and to use hand sanitizers on a regular basis. Also, every day before starting their shift, they will need to measure their temperature and if they have any respiratory problems they will be instructed to consult their doctor.

4. Helping our guests
Personal hygiene including frequent hand washing and not touching your eyes, nose, or mouth is essential to minimizing the spread of the COVID-19 and other viruses. These recommendations are very important and will be repeated to guests frequently. To ensure all our guests are safe, hand sanitizers will be available at the entrance of each ship as well as at the salon entrance. Guests will be kindly asked to use the sanitizer every time getting on/off the ship or when entering the salon. Soap, paper towels, and disinfecting wipes will be provided to guests in their cabins for their personal use.

5. Air condition on the ship
All ships have air conditioning that can be self-regulated. Salon and common hall areas are also air-conditioned. The AC system is maintained annually and filters are cleaned and replaced as needed. Due to the coronavirus situation and the negative image that large AC systems can contribute to the development and spread of the virus through ventilation systems, Atlas will be taking extra measures in cleaning and disinfecting AC units. If guests do not wish to use AC in their cabins, they can easily be turned off. The salon area will be organized in a way that social distancing will be respected and it will be suggested that salon doors and windows are kept open during breakfast and lunchtime to increase air circulation. Also, the suggestion is that guests will be reminded during their stay on the ship to keep in mind to open cabin windows multiple times daily for ventilation (where possible).

6. Ship service
Breakfast and lunch will be served and no meals will be on a buffet. Depending on the size of the group and ship layout, meals will be served either in two sessions or simultaneously in the saloon and on the outside deck. Food will be prepared and served in gloves.

7. Further instructions
Swim stops will be regulated by the crew and Cruise Manager - in order to respect social distancing policy the number of people using the swim platform at once will be limited as well as people using the sun deck. The crew will keep track of the numbers to prevent crowding. Each time before the ship arrives at the new destination/port, the Cruise Manager will organize the procedure of how the guests will leave the ship to go onshore. If two or more ships are moored next to each other, guests will be asked to respect the following procedures when embarking/disembarking the ship. The Croatian institute of public health suggests that guests carry their luggage on their own in order to avoid excessive contact. However, if you need the help of a crew member, they will be glad to assist you and they will do it using hand gloves and later they will disinfect their hands. Lastly, we recommend that you carry only one piece of luggage per person, as well as one piece of hand luggage. All the above instructions will be posted on our website as well on all our travel documents. Guests are kindly asked to pay attention to these instructions and to prepare for the new regulations before coming on board. Guests are also asked to respect check-in and check-out time and not to make crowds when entering or leaving the ship. They should always keep in mind the social distancing policy of 1,5 m.

Deluxe superior is a new class of newer and larger ships, the best vessels that exist on the Adriatic sea built with high-quality materials of solid wood, glass, marble, stainless steel, and similar materials. Minimum 47 meters in length, newly built or refurbished after 2016, with hot tubs and beautiful sun decks with lounge area, deckchairs, and more. Which category should I choose?
Those who seek a bit more privacy, luxury, and comfort should choose Deluxe Superior, Deluxe (all costs are included in price, except gratuities), as well as on Premium Superior or Premium category vessels. Traditional / Traditional Ensuite vessels are intended more for young or young at heart people, groups of friends or different interest groups like alpinists, bikers and similar who do not mind sharing a small space and bathrooms for 7 days.

How many people are on the ship?
The number of persons on vessel varies from 20 to 40, depending on a size of the vessel.
What are the type of electricity sockets and voltage in the cabins?
Everywhere in Croatia, standard European sockets are used (Type F) - 2 pins, grounded, 16 A, 220 V. Socket is compatible with plug types C, E & F. Some of the new vessels also offer USB sockets.
Is there some snorkeling equipment of the ship?
Not as a rule, but sometimes there are. If you plan to snorkel – rather bring your own.
What are the security measures on the ship?
All the vessels are equipped with life-saving boats and life jackets which can be found under the beds in cabins or in marked wardrobe on the deck or in the salon. If you are non – swimmer, we kindly ask you to inform us and the captain earlier. During your stay on the vessel you need to pay attention on the following: steps are much tighter and sharper and it requires alert while coming down or going up; deck can be extremely slippery during rain or morning humidity, so it is necessary while you are walking on the vessel to hold the railing with one hand; it is strictly forbidden to climb on foremast, jumping off the deck during the cruise nor going far away from the vessel during swim pauses. During high season, harbors can be very crowded and often vessels are docked next to each other, so we kindly ask you to be very careful while you are going from one vessel to another. Crew assistance will be given to those needing and requesting it. Cruise is not recommended for clients in wheelchairs or with limited mobility.
Can we drink water on the ship?
Even though the tap water on board is of good quality, we would not recommend you drink it on board as it comes from tanks. 1 liter of water is provided for you every day; further bottles are available for sale on the vessel.
What is the tipping suggestion on the ship?
We believe that tips should reflect good service and your satisfaction with the guide/cruise manager, crew and overall tour. Crew gratuities are equally distributed among the crew. Tipping is voluntary and completely at the discretion of individual trip participants. Your own currency or Croatian Kuna is acceptable.

What currency is accepted?
Even though Croatia joined the EU in July 2013, the main currency accepted is the Croatian Kuna. Where possible; exchange your money in a bank or retrieve money from an ATM. Drinks onboard and all extra services such as transfers, excursions and accommodation need to be paid in local currency KUNA. Premium, Premium Superior, Deluxe and Deluxe Superior vessels offer credit card payment possibilities.

Most major towns and islands in Croatia such as Opatija, Dubrovnik, Split etc. will have ATMs that are linked to international networks; however, smaller towns may not have ATM facilities available. Credit cards such as Visa and MasterCard are widely recognized and are accepted in most tourist areas; however, it is always a good idea to have a small amount of cash if you are travelling off the beaten path.
What is the average air & sea temperature?
The average sea temperature during the July and August is 24,5°C and the temperature average during the July and August is 28°C. Be sure to take some clothes for possible cooler evenings (for example some sport fitting, windbreaker or similar) for spring and autumn departures.
How big the cabins are and what is an average size of the cabins?
Cabins offer enough places to sleep and the place for traveling bag. They're functional and mostly equipped with two beds, little wardrobe or open shelf. Traditional Ensuite, Premium and Premium Superior cabins have own bathrooms with shower and toilet. The cabin size depends on the category of the vessel. Deluxe Superior cabins are 15 to 20 m² and Deluxe Superior cabins are equipped with wardrobes, deposit box, hair dryer, toiletries, bathrobe, slippers etc., Deluxe cabins 12 to 17 m², Premium Superior cabins 8 to 14 m², Premium cabins 8 to 14 m², Traditional Ensuite cabins are approximately 5-8 m², Traditional cabins are 3,5-4 m².
What kind of beds do cabins have?
Premium Superior and Premium vessels have either twin or double beds. Some cabins can accommodate 3 persons - double bed and an extra bed above or next the double bed. Because of the limited number of different beds, we are not in a possibility to confirm or guarantee a specific type of bed, but we try to allocate guests according to their wishes. So, if you demand a specific type of bed, we kindly ask you to note that to us while making a reservation, and we will try to fulfill your wishes.
What is the average type and size of bed in cabin?
On Deluxe and Premium / Premium Superior vessels, there are twin or double beds in cabins. Approximate size of the twin bed is 90/100 m x 190/200 cm, while the size of a double bed is 150/160 m x 190/200 m.
What is the difference between lower and main deck cabins?
Cabins are situated on deck and on lower deck. ON DECK CABINS can be situated on the MAIN deck (deck on which you step on as you embark the vessel) and on UPPER deck (deck on top of the main deck). Cabins on lower deck are actually in the hull of the vessel. Advantage of cabins situated on deck is the direct exit to sea and more fresh air, while cabins on lower deck are sometimes quieter (only fellow passengers who booked lower deck cabins will pass by and not all passengers from your vessel as well as other vessels when docked) and comfortable because they are situated in a sea level which chills cabins naturally and hallways below deck are often air-conditioned which effect temperature in cabins too. Cabins on lower deck mostly have little portholes.
Do lower deck cabins have a window?
Lower deck cabins are in the hull of the vessel and they have a small porthole. According to the Croatian law and vessel rules, during a navigation portholes need to be closed to avoid water to come inside a cabin. When a vessel is docked in the port, portholes can be opened. On newer Premium Superior / Premium and Deluxe category vessels with steel hulls and air-conditioned cabins, portholes cannot be opened.
Are cabins cleaned during the week?
On the Deluxe Superior, Deluxe, Premium Superior and Premium vessels have daily cabin service. In all categories the cabins are cleaned and fresh bed linen is provided before your arrival.
Is there air conditioning in cabins?
All cabins are air conditioned (except sometimes during the night after midnight if there is limited access to electricity).
Do the ports have luggage storage?
Dubrovnik port - The nearest Luggage storage is the Travel Corner (Obala Stjepana Radića 40). The rates are: 50 kuna per day and 180 kuna per week (per hour: first 2 hours 12 kuna, each following 5 kuna per hour per bag). Split port - Luggage storage is to be found across of the street of the port line, where vessels are docked. 20 m forward (on the right, when looking from the boats) from the post office ( on a half a way from the post office to the bus station ) = 15 KN per bag (per day). Opatija port - In case of excess luggage please ask our Katarina line representative upon arrival to give you additional info about possible storage.
What should I bring?
We suggest to take lighter clothes, shorts, T – shirts, bathing suits, sandals and similar, and a few long arm shirts, long pants or wind sail for possible colder weather and breezy nights. Do not forget your hat, sunglasses, sun cream...
Do you provide food for people with special dietary needs?
We are limited to small kitchens when preparing special food for vegetarians and people with special diet demands. Please make sure to advise of any dietary needs at the time of your booking and our on-board chef will do their best to accommodate.
Can we bring our own drinks on board?
It is not allowed to bring and to consume your own drinks on the vessel. You can get your drinks at vessel salon which is at the same time restaurant, living room, and a bar. The bar is equipped with different alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. In case that you would like to consume a drink not available at time, please advise the crew and they will try to arrange it for you at the next port of call.
Do we pay for drinks?
Drinks purchased from the vessel bar can be paid in EUR or KN. Clients will get daily reports of consumed drinks from previous day and payment for all is at check out. On all deluxe and premium vessel categories you can pay with credit cards as well.
What are the ship rules?
Vessel rules are to protect our customers on board and we would like all clients to have consideration for other people.

If in our opinion any passenger behaves in a way to cause or likely to cause danger or distress to any third party we reserve the right in terminating the travel of the person(s) concerned without any refund.

Passengers on board are obliged to abide by the vessel rules, as captain is responsible for the safety of all passengers and the crew. Captain has the right to change the itinerary in case of bad weather or similar inappropriate conditions in ports to ensure safety on board.
Passports are to be shown to the captain for registration on the first day of the cruise at check in.
Jumping or diving from the vessel during navigation is strictly forbidden. For safety reasons climbing on the masts is also forbidden.
During rough weather, any movement should be done with care and as little as possible. The floors can often be wet and slippery. Passengers should take extra care crossing between the vessels when they are docked together in port. Do not hesitate to ask a crew member for assistance when crossing. Movement between the vessels is the individuals' responsibility.
Safety belts are placed under the seats in the dining area or below the bunks in the cabins (depending on the vessel).
As the vessels are explicitly acoustic all passengers are asked to behave accordingly. Special attention must be given to night peace onboard, which officially is at midnight. In National Parks, even earlier night peace is required and guests will be notified of this.
Smoking is allowed only in designated area. Smoking in the restaurant area and in the cabins is not allowed and when smoking on the deck passengers must not throw cigarette butts in the sea.
Bed linens must not be taken out of the cabins.
Please take special attention not to throw anything into toilets except toilette paper.
Passengers are not permitted to bring drinks and food on the vessel. This includes all drinks and food products purchased on shore in ports of call. The exceptions are personal care products, liquid medicine, food products specifically for infants and food products for special diets. Typical regional products purchased during visits to the ports will be stored on board to be returned to passengers at the end of the cruise.
Guests are obliged to respect meal times on board, which are placed on the board in the salon, as well as departure times to next port.
Any damage must be compensated to the captain by the passenger. Lost cabin keys will be charged 150 kunas per key.

It is strictly forbidden to throw rubbish into the sea.
Water is a problem on every vessel, therefore please be very rational with it. The same applies to the electricity which runs on the generator.
Guests must close the portholes in cabins under deck during navigation, to avoid their cabins getting wet by the sea water entering the cabin through the porthole.
The captain and the crew will be available for any questions or queries and will do their best to make your stay on board a most pleasurable one. If captain and his crew are not providing satisfactory service, please contact our office for further help, as our aim is to make you satisfied during your stay onboard.
Service charge is not included in the price and therefore please tip at your own discretion
We believe that tips should reflect good service and your satisfaction with the guide/cruise manager, crew and overall tour. Crew gratuities are equally distributed among the crew. Tipping is voluntary and completely at the discretion of individual trip participants. Your own currency or Croatian Kuna is acceptable.

TIPPING SUGGESTIONS PER PERSON: Cruise Manager: EUR 5 (Kn 40) per person per day, Crew (all vessel services and assistance with luggage): EUR 10 (KN 80) per guest per day, Local guide (offers in-depth information at specific locations; there may be many guides along a tour program): EUR 1-2 (10-15 KN per half day of sightseeing), Restaurants & Cafes: If not included, tip 10%-15% of the check, depending on the quality of service, Taxis: Tip up to 10% of the fare (We recommend you book taxis via your tour/cruise manager and renegotiate taxi fares to avoid unpleasant surprises at the end of the journey

DISCLAIMER: Due to specific mooring conditions and requirements in some Croatian ports, ships are moored side by side, making it necessary for the clients to cross from one vessel to another with gaps in between vessels in order to get to the shore. In such cases clients need to take special care when crossing and do this at their own risk. Crew assistance will be given to those needing and requesting it.
