Arrival to Split airport, followed by private transfer to your hotel by car and driver. Enjoy the rest of the afternoon at leisure. This eternally young city with around 200 thousand inhabitants has lived its urban rhythm for 1700 years with Diocletian’s palace at its heart, which is also the historical center of the city and a UNESCO world heritage site. Many valuable monuments of culture are located outside the walls of Diocletian’s Palace or in the nearby towns and islands. Overnight in Split. (B)
Visit the well preserved ancient cellars of the Diocletian’s Palace during your organized walking tour of Split. Continue to the Cathedral, which is considered to be one of the oldest in the world. Spend the rest of the day at leisure. Browse the local market, galleries and boutique shops. Enjoy lunch of Dalmatian specialties and a glass or local red wine at a nearby konoba. Or hit the town beach and just relax, swim and wait for the spectacular sunset. Overnight in Split. (B)
Private transfer from the hotel to the Split Port. Transfer to Hvar by catamaran, one of the most beautiful islands on the Adriatic coast. Here you can relax on one of the island’s beautiful beaches or stroll the cobblestone streets of its town with lined up cafes and restaurants. Located in picturesque natural surroundings on the south side of the island, surrounded by mighty medieval walls, magical fields and the scent of lavender, Hvar is a never-ending treasure of monumental heritage, culture and atmospheres. Overnight in Hvar. (B)
Sail to the island of Vis to discover unspoiled beaches and natural Mediterranean beauty. The island of Vis is one of the most remote of all Adriatic islands, an island considered to be a jewel already by the ancient Greeks. On the remains of the old Greek settlements we today find the towns of Komiža and Vis. After a pleasant sail we will arrive to the islet of Biševo, part of the archipelago surrounding Vis. The attraction of Biševo is the Blue Cave, a natural phenomenon which can be entered only by small fishermen’s boats. Overnight in Hvar. (B)
This morning transfer to the island of Korčula, the birthplace of Marco Polo. This beautiful town is known for its brightly colored red roofs which stand out against the fiercely blue sea. Stroll along the streets of the city and visit the cultural and historical monuments. See the Treasury of the Abbey, the City Museum, the Museum of Icons, as well as other places of interest. Also take an optional visit to a wine cellar for a private tasting or choose to enjoy dinner at a local restaurant for a taste of the island’s specialties. Overnight in Korčula. (B)
Discover Dubrovnik’s fascinating walled city during your organized sightseeing tour, and then bask in the splendor of its ancient art and culture as well as its fabulous architecture. The over a thousand year old history of Dubrovnik is visible in every part of this city. The city is a living museum and a live stage, and has an ideal connection between its historical past and the modern day. It is surrounded by medieval walls that are 1940 meters long and are preserved in their original form. They are open to visitors and are the city’s greatest attraction. Since 1979 the town has been under UNESCO protection. Overnight in Dubrovnik. (B)
If you like to be active you can choose to explore the nearby island of Koločep on a optional sea-kayaking tour, or spend time hiking or biking through the mesmerizing countryside. Or perhaps consider an optional day trip to nearby Montenegro, or a tour through Mostar in Bosnia. Overnight in Dubrovnik. (B)
Transfer to the airport for your flight home.
