Arrive in Split and transfer to the beautiful island of Brač. The island of Brač is the highest and third largest island in the Adriatic Sea. The island is well known for its quality stone used to build many palaces. This is the island with the only stone mason school in Croatia. The scent of medicinal sage and rosemary under the sunny slopes, and sounds of crickets are the sign of relaxing rhythm of the island. Overnight in Brač.
Explore the tiny fishing village of Bol to lounge on the famous “Golden Horn” one of the best and most unique beaches in Croatia. Made up of tiny pebbles, this beach juts out into the sea. Relax in the Mediterranean sun or warm seas. If you want a more private location seek out a secluded cove or stretch of beach all to yourself. You also have the option to take a private sailing trip around the island and spend the day on the sparkling blue waters and even try wind surfing! For the more adventurous type try hiking up to the highest peak in Croatia the Vidova Gora. From Bol the hike takes from 2-3 hours depending on your pace, but the view is spectacular. Today is another day of leisure on Hvar for you to spend as you wish. Continue your search for the most beautiful beach or choose to spend the day on Hvar itself enjoying the rosemary and lavender fields on the island. Sample the flavorful local wines and olive oil in local vineyards and enjoy a private dinner or try a local restaurant for the mouthwatering cuisine. Pakleni Islands is a particularly interesting group of islands with gravelly and sandy beaches, and a rocky sea bottom perfect for underwater fishing. Overnight in Hvar. (B)
Sail to the island of Vis to discover unspoiled beaches and natural Mediterranean beauty. The island of Vis is one of the most remote of all Adriatic islands, an island considered to be a jewel already by the ancient Greeks. On the remains of the old Greek settlements we today find the towns of Komiža and Vis. After a pleasant sail we will arrive to the islet of Biševo, part of the archipelago surrounding Vis. The attraction of Biševo is the Blue Cave, a natural phenomenon which can be entered only by small fishermen’s boats. Overnight in Hvar. (B)
Arrive in Split and spend your afternoon walking through this magnificent city. There is a sightseeing tour of the city where you will view the remnants of Split’s Roman heritage, its Renaissance and Gothic structures, Jupiter’s Temple and the Cathedral. Visit the majestic palace of the Emperor Diocletian and marvel in its antiquity. The palace is a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site and is known for its architecture. Experience the Peristil, a public meeting place within the palace walls which becomes an open air stage in the summer when the Split Summer Festival takes place. Overnight in Split. (B)
